Robeson Co. Grandfather Shoots Intruders, Killing One, Who Were Attempting To Rape His Granddaughter

An Armed NC, is a safe NC.
A grandfather in Robeson County NC is in the hospital after being shot multiple times by 3 men who broke into his home and attempted to rape his granddaughter, a decision that one of them paid for with their life when the armed granddad used his own weapon to defend his family.
The incident began when at around 10PM on the night of October 20th, there was a knock at the door at the Lumberton residence where the grandfather shared with his wife and granddaughter (whose names have not been released).
Three men, two of which were wearing black ski masks and dark clothing, forced their way into the home, and demanded money at gunpoint. They then forced the grandfather and his wife into the back of the residence and forced him to open his safe.
That's when the men decided to rape the man's 19 year old granddaughter.
At this point, the grandfather managed to retrieve his own firearm and shot all three suspects, but was himself shot multiple times.  The suspects expeditiously fled the residence, in the homeowner's Cadillac.  A short time, later, the Robeson County Sheriff's Deputies were called to McLeod Hospital in Dillon, where two of the suspects had shown up with gunshot wounds .

the late Jamie Lee Faison
The 3rd suspect, 20 year old Jamie Lee Faison was found dead in the stolen Cadillac just off Singletary Church Road near Lumberton, having succumbed to the gunshot wounds.

The two other suspects, identified as Brandon Stephens and Jamar Hawkins, were airlifted to other hospitals for emergency surgery.
Robeson County deputies believe the trio are responsible for other burglaries and home invasions in the area recently.

the 2 remaining suspects, Brandon Stephens and Jamar Hawkins, a couple of real winners

Yet another case of a law abiding gun owner defending his home and his loved ones.
If he had been disarmed like so many anti-gun lunatics would have liked, his granddaughter would have been violently raped by these pieces of trash, and he and his wife would most likely have been executed right there in there own home. Just another statistic that the Elite care nothing about.
YOUR SAFETY IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.

Durham County Clerk of Court Shreds Jim Crow Gun Registry

Back in May, we told you about the Durham County gun registry, which was an unconstitutional holdover from the racist Jim Crow Law days, in which the county created a gun registry to keep guns out of the hands of black citizens, based solely on the color of their skin  .
As of yesterday, the Clerk of Court along with the Sheriff's Office has now destroyed the gun registry in accordance with North Carolina law, and more importantly, in accordance with the Constitution and the rights of law abiding citizens.
These photos are from their Facebook page dated yesterday:

While it's a shame it has taken this long to remove such a violation of Constitutional freedom, it's a greater shame that such a registry was ever created in the first place.

GRNC Threatens Lawsuit Over State Fair Gun Ban

Grass Roots North Carolina, the Old North State's leading firearms advocacy group, is threatening a lawsuit over the current "No Guns" policy at the NC state fairgrounds. With the new expansive gun rights package now in effect in North Carolina, many pro gun rights groups are stating that the restrictive policies in place at the Fairgrounds should change in respect to the new laws.
But  NC Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler told Guns.Com this:
"Our policy at the State Fair has always been not to allow weapons at the fair. It is our intention to continue that policy until we are instructed by a judge or the legislature to do otherwise. In my mind, as a supporter of the 2nd Amendment, as a gun owner, and a grandfather, I believe the mix of kids, guns, rides, and large crowds is a bad idea."

Troxler went on to say that he believes there is enough gray area in the new laws to allow him to continue to prohibit the possession of firearms on the state fairground property without being in violation of the new laws, according to him, "erring on the side of public safety."

GNRC's president Paul Valone said that Commissioner Troxler is choosing to violate the rights of lawfully-permitted concealed carry handgun owners not just inside the fair but in the parking lot as well, within their own personal vehicles. Valone said that his group will be seeking an injunction against Troxler and the Fairground's policies.
Valone said,
"As we have seen time and again, gun free zones are dangerous places for law abiding citizens. No family should be rendered entirely helpless should an event occur such as what happened at the Wisconsin State Fair in 2011."
The incident Valone is referring to was when a group of teenagers and young adults began randomly attacking patrons, resulting in 11 injuries and 31 arrests.
He went on to say that criminals use the disadvantage of being disarmed against law abiding citizens.
It makes for easier prey.
There is certain to be much more discussion on this subject in the coming days, with the Fair set to kick off on October 16.
The last four years of the fair, attendance has been approximately 1 million people during the week-long event..
We will keep you informed on any developments.
